My colleague drew my attention to an email she received yesterday from Aveda, wishing her a happy birthday. But this was a month late, her birthday is December 11th! Looks like Aveda haven't got their email scripts sorted properly.The offer for birthdays also seems a little disappointing – you have to spend $55 and use a non-customer-specific code (which could surely be used by anyone?) to receive the offer. You'd hope on your birthday they'd be a little kinder – perhaps free standard shipping without a minimum spend but then be more time-centric to give more of an immediate call to action.
