I really don't like Dotmailer, I find that their services are expensive compared to other other email campaign management systems and the UI leaves a lot to be desired. Grumbling aside, they do make a good report or two. I like to read the annual "Hitting the mark report" which forced me to be signed up to their list, which until the other day I had completely forgotten about. When I received this email, I immediately searched for the unsubscribe button and spent a while locating it. Completely understandable once you realise it's much smaller than the rest of the copy and not in the obvious place like the header or in the footer. Found it yet? That's right, it's underneath the sign-off. This isn't an instant unsubscribe either. It's one of those opt-down options. I am totally PRO opt-down, but not when there isn't a link to instantly unsubsribe immediately pro or preceding it. And from a company like Dotmailer, they should really know better.
