One of the things you need to be conscientious of as an email marketer is how easy it is to find your product. Sure it's easy when you're direct linking, but what about if you're sending a user to a category page. If you've used an image to represent that category, I always think you need to make sure that product is at the top of the list. Don't pain me by making me look for it, or worse, leaving it out altogether.
So last night, when I found this ASOS landing page error, I thought I'd show you what I mean…check out the products on the far right category in the screenshot from the email. The link for this category is this http://www.asos.com/Womenswear-Newsletter—Ff/Look-1/Cat/pgecategory.aspx?cid=13187 – but where are any of the items displayed? At least leave them at the top and when you go into them show that they're sold out. I searched the site and couldn't find the spangly metallic skirt either. Annoying, very annoying!
Always listening (I’m nosey like that) 😉
